California Teen Center

Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP)

Intensive Daily Therapy in a Range of Treatment Types

Our Day Program provides teens with a full range of therapeutic services, medication management, group therapy, and other treatment methods while still living at home.

We know that no two teens are alike, so we ensure that each child receives an individualized treatment plan based on their specific needs and goals. During the admissions process for our Day Program, we will conduct a thorough assessment of your teen and establish their personalized course of treatment.

Why Choose Our Teen Therapy Day Program?

Our Day Program includes academic support with involvement from your school district. When you and your teen decide to commit to our program, we’ll develop a transition plan that focuses on personal growth to help them integrate back into everyday life after treatment.

We work closely with you, the school, and any referring healthcare providers to ensure that your child’s education, mental health, and overall needs are met – every step of the way.

What Happens During the Day Program?

The focus of our Day Program is to treat teens with mental health disorders, behavioral, and developmental issues. We utilize our specialized clinicians and therapists to provide treatment for your teen that helps them understand their thoughts and feelings. Our program teaches your child a healthy and effective means to navigate their life.

Our program will teach your teen to:

  • Nurture a healthier and more productive lifestyle.
  • Identify negative and harmful patterns and behavior.
  • Deal with life’s challenges.
  • Build a support structure and network of peers and mentors.

Treatment Plans During the Day Program

The program includes one-on-one therapy, psychiatric supervision, group therapy, and a robust educational component so your child can keep up with school work. Because every teen is different, treatment plans may differ. Some are built around mental health and behavioral issues, while others are more focused on the teen’s needs, personality, and unique circumstances.
